Intellectual Property
The Intellectual Property Department, headed by Patent Attorney Dr. Yair David, has experience not only in patenting but also as Intellectual Property Manager and Senior Consultant for Startups.
The department was established on the basis of the need to provide the firm's clients with a comprehensive and high-quality intellectual property solution, and to support technology inventors, patent holders, potential investors in technology and patent-based products in decision making towards commercialization, investment, risk testing and violation options and accompanying the entire process. The department will also allow the provision of a unique service to assess the existence of patent infringements and to file claims against patent infringers. This procedure is carried out in a new settlement, based on pay-per-success, for the detection of violations and the winning of claims worldwide and the regulation of the issue.
Dr. Yair David, head of the department, is an experienced patent attorney, who has extensive experience in the high-tech industry and held positions with leading companies such as Elbit and Elron. David also served as the intellectual property manager for PrimeSense, which was sold in 2014 to Apple for $ 350 million. In addition, David advised start-ups and his academic research devoted to patents and encouraging innovation.
Prior to his business operations, David served a long-standing regular and reserve duty as a fighter navigator in the Air Force's advanced squadrons, with his last position as Chief Experimental Engineer at the Air Force Flight Experiment Center and discharged with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
