Energy and Environmental Protection

Our firm's Department of Energy and Environmental Protection provides in-depth, high-quality legal counsel on critical issues in energy and environmental protection—fields central to public and economic discourse in Israel and all over the world.

The department's expertise spans a comprehensive range of services, including advising on energy and environmental legislation and regulations; consulting on the establishment of energy corporations within local governments; drafting agreements; representing clients in licensing processes before governmental authorities; supporting renewable energy projects; resolving energy-related disputes through arbitration and mediation; and guiding clients through public and private energy tenders, both in Israel and abroad.

The department has represented several high-profile projects, such as establishing Israel’s largest municipal landfill in the south, developing a recycling facility, supporting the Dan Regional Municipal Association, and coordinating tenders to select private-sector partners for local energy corporations nationwide. Additionally, it has played a key role in establishing energy corporations and management authorities for municipalities. The department also manages energy-related tenders, contributes to legislative and regulatory efforts, and leads pioneering projects within the energy sector.

To meet clients' needs, the department collaborates with international experts and consultants with extensive experience. For example, in a complex overseas infrastructure project led by Dr. Adv. Gideon Fisher, the department facilitated the establishment of a power station in an African country, supported by Scandinavian and Israeli experts and financed by the European Bank.
